Adventure awaits at the Tipis and in the surrounding areas there are plenty of activities including boat rentals, fly-fishing, bird-watching, and exploring local restaurants, and nature walks.
And, if you're a music lover, catch a concert at Whitewater Amphitheater or Gruene Dance Hall just a few miles away.

Along with a fun and glamping atmosphere on the beautiful Guadalupe River (where you can sit, relax with a drink, and watch the tubers float by on nice days), our Tipi-style vacation cabins offer onsite fishing (bring your own gear), purchase tubes, and daily kayak rentals. Please call ahead for large-party arrangements!
Our tipi glamping sites are centrally located in an exciting hub of Texas outdoor recreation, offering easy access to a variety of adventure activities. Some popular guest favorites include boating and tubing the river, fly fishing, strolling along the riverfront, watching for birds and wildlife, and more.
If town-based fun is more your speed, Tipis on the Guadalupe is close to several bustling downtown areas in the neighboring towns of New Braunfels, Gruene, San Marcos, and Canyon Lake, to name a few. Here, you can find fishing guides, equipment rentals and shops, outlet malls, and tons of dining options.

We really enjoyed our teepee experience!
It was perfect for a group of 5 with easy access via keypad to the teepee and the private bathroom.
The area was beautiful and the amenities were fun.
We took advantage of the fireplace and picnic table.
I would recommend staying more than 1 night for the full experience. We also really enjoyed floating the Guadalupe River.
We definitely want to come back!
