This Texas farmhouse has a great open concept design. The living room with a Texas-sized television opens onto a beautiful front porch. The covered porch is lined with lush plants, has lots of seating, plus a charcoal grill to show off your grill skills.
The large kitchen has plenty of charm right down to the handmade pecan farm table with benches. Plenty of room in the large dining area for big family meals! Guests love the 2 wood burning stoves; 1 in the living room and 1 in the enclosed picnic area. They love the twin sized daybed in this area too, perfect for an afternoon nap.
Sleeping arrangement: 3 bedrooms! One has a private door to an attached small deck (dibs) for morning coffee. The second bedroom has access to the cozy enclosed screened porch.

This farmhouse rental is near New Braunfels, San Marcos, and Canyon Lake – in stunning Texas Hill Country. Ideal for a family looking for a private, quiet and spacious getaway near lots of outside recreation. Ask us about the open-air lakeside cabanas on Son’s Island that can be rented by the day. We love sharing local adventure ideas with guests, just let us know what your group likes to do. Tubing? Kayaking? Museums? Walking tours in New Braunfels? Point your adventure compass any way you want!
Hike the Guadalupe River Trail or the Madrone Trail. The Hancock Horse Trail is relatively flat with plenty of easy beach access. You might see people running their horses on the beach too.
We can give you tips on where locals like to eat. Breakfast: Sweeties Donuts , Tacos Don Chentes , Granny D’s , Wildflour. Lunch/Dinner: The Real Pit BBQ , Granny D’s , Taqueria Don Chente , Italian Garden , Gennaro's Trattoria. Unique shops, lively bars with craft beer, and wine lover destinations are all nearby.
