The Air Haus by River Road Escapes is a beautifully furnished, modern vacation home offering accommodations for up to 18 guests near the scenic Guadalupe River.
The Air Haus is the perfect place to plan for lazy days on the river. Cook a late breakfast with your travel group in the fully equipped kitchen, then head out-of-doors to enjoy the endless Texas sun! This home is just a few steps from the water’s edge, with plenty of outdoor amenities to make the most of its prime location — including lawn chairs, a fire pit, and a hammock!
Inside, the Air Haus features comfortable furniture and large windows that fill the luxury living spaces with natural light — our favorite setting for a worry-free nap. Whether you’re piling in for an afternoon movie to escape the hottest part of the day or grilling out on our barbecue before a tubing adventure down the river, this rental is the home to beat.
Sleeping arrangements: three bedrooms on the ground floor of the Air Haus are equipped with a queen-sized bed in each. On the lower level, a walk-out bunk room has five twin bunk beds and 2 twin beds. This room can sleep a total of 18 people and is great for kids and teens.
Unique Features
The Air Haus has an inviting outdoor living space that really makes the most of its riverfront location. There is a covered patio deck furnished with picnic tables and yard games, as well as a balcony off the upper-level living room that overlooks the water.
One of our favorite features is the hammock that makes an ideal nap spot — complete with fresh air and calming river sounds.
Things To Do
With Air Haus’ direct river access and charming outdoor relaxation space, you may never wish to leave the property! However, if you do venture out into the surrounding area, you’ll find tons of fun entertainment options and fine dining venues nearby in downtown New Braunfels, Gruene, or Canyon Lake.
At River Road Escapes, we offer fishing (bring your own gear), swimming, tubes for sale, and daily kayak rentals. Your Air Haus vacation cottage is also convenient to the San Antonio Riverwalk and the San Marcos outlet mall.
If you prefer to explore on land, this house is close to some excellent hiking trails, as well as popular attractions like the Heritage Museum, the Schlitterbahn Waterpark, the Natural Bridge Caverns, the Whitewater Amphitheater, and the Buggy Barn Museum/Old West Movie Set.
