Tucked into the wooded nature trails at Country Woods Inn are our adventure lodging and glamping sites! The Hideout Vintage Airstream is settled on one such site, located on resort grounds just steps away from our picturesque natural fishing and swimming hole.
This unique Texas Hill Country rental offers backwoods accommodations for four, with four twin-sized bunk beds nestled into the sides of an iconic vintage travel trailer. With its remote located and quiet atmosphere, you might wake up to deer or turkey outside your windows!
The Hideout Vintage Airstream has everything you need to heat meals and relax onsite, with a furnished kitchenette (complete with a fridge, microwave and coffee maker), a full bath with a shower, a sitting area with a game table, a TV and DVD player, and even air conditioning.
Outside the trailer, you’ll find a private, scenic outdoor living space with a hammock, a tree swing, a picnic table, and Adirondack chairs overlooking the meadow where our horses graze. Please note: guests may use the fire pit and grill at the barn, but no fires are allowed on the hill.
The Hideout Vintage Airstream is one of six adventure lodging sites located between the trees at Country Woods Inn. These sites offer a quieter experience than our main house and resort cabins, but include access to all of the same fantastic onsite amenities.
Our little “glamping village” is made up of two vintage airstreams, two modern RVs, a repurposed railroad car and a remote cabin in the woods. Combined, these fun glamping sites can sleep up to 24 guests, all close to fishing, swimming and walking trails on the river.
Relax into a unique glamping experience in the beautiful Texas Hill Country! Country Woods Inn is a working farm with dozens of onsite activities and amenities for guests to participate in. Come stay and play at the resort for lasting memories with treasured friends and family.
Your vintage airstream rental includes access to one-of-a-kind amenities such as our barnyard breakfast with the animals in the Old Stable; picnicking among the wildflowers in our rolling fields; a children’s library and art studio set inside a llama corral; free hiking and exploring on 40 wooded acres; courts for horseshoes, basketball and volleyball; and fishing on the Paluxy River!
From your glamping site, it’s also an easy day trip into the quaint downtown area of Glen Rose, TX. The square is lined by shops, museums and restaurants, as well as seasonal events like Stroll in the Square, held the third Saturday of the month. Other popular local entertainments include a rock climbing center, the Texas Amphitheater, and Dinosaur Valley State Park.

We are SO happy we stumbled onto Country Woods Inn! The Airstream trailer was a whole adventure unto itself. We loved having our own little forest space ... The kids were enchanted by the animals and we even came home with one of their baby bunnies who was ready for a new home!
